Nuvo — Longevity Coach
Your Personal Longevity Coach
Private, on-device intelligence turns 37 longevity biomarkers into a daily biological age score — with recovery insights and habit guidance to help you live younger for longer.
Works with Apple Health and Apple Watch
Nuvo connects directly to Apple Health and Apple Watch to analyze the biomarkers you already track — no extra hardware, no wristbands to charge, no manual logging. If you own an iPhone or an Apple Watch, the raw signals Nuvo needs are already in your Health app: resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), VO2 max, respiratory rate, sleep stages, step count, active energy, walking steadiness, and dozens more.
Setup takes under a minute. Grant read access to the 37 supported biomarkers, and Nuvo builds your baseline within the first 24 hours. From there, every new night of sleep and every workout refines your daily biological age score.
Better Every Day: Age, Recovery, and Habits
Nuvo organizes longevity into three metrics that compound over time. Each one is measured daily, benchmarked against your personal baseline, and paired with a specific habit you can act on before your next Apple Watch reading.
Biological Age
Your chronological age is the number of birthdays you've had. Your biological age is how old your cardiovascular, metabolic, and nervous systems actually behave. Research published by Levine and colleagues (2018) shows biological age can diverge from chronological age by up to 20 years depending on sleep, cardiorespiratory fitness, and inflammation. Nuvo estimates this gap every morning so you can watch it narrow.
Recovery
Recovery scoring blends overnight HRV, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep architecture into a single 0–100 readiness value. When recovery is high, Nuvo greenlights harder training. When it's low, Nuvo tells you exactly which inputs — short sleep, elevated resting heart rate, late alcohol — dragged it down and what to change tonight.
Habits
Habits are the levers that actually move biological age. Nuvo ships with a curated library of longevity-backed habits — Zone 2 cardio, strength training, protein targets, morning light, consistent sleep-wake times, sauna, cold exposure — and tracks adherence automatically from Apple Watch data whenever possible.
Reveal Your True Age
Chronological age is a poor predictor of healthspan. Biological age — derived from validated biomarker clocks like PhenoAge and GrimAge — is a substantially better predictor of all-cause mortality, cardiovascular events, and cognitive decline. Nuvo brings that same clock-based approach to consumer wearables.
The engine ingests continuous signals from Apple Watch (heart rate, HRV, VO2 max, sleep, activity) and optionally combines them with lab biomarkers you enter manually — HbA1c, fasting glucose, ApoB, hs-CRP, albumin, creatinine, and more. The result is a research-grade biological age estimate, updated daily, that reflects both what your wearable saw last night and what your last blood panel measured.
How Nuvo Works
- 37 Apple Health biomarkers analyzed on every sync, spanning cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, sleep, and mobility signals.
- 100% on-device processing — zero biomarker data is transmitted to Nuvo servers or third parties. Your Health data never leaves your iPhone.
- Daily biological age score refreshed each morning after your Apple Watch syncs the previous night's sleep and HRV.
- Recovery readiness (0–100) computed from HRV trend, resting heart rate deviation, sleep debt, and respiratory rate.
- Habit library covering Zone 2, VO2 max intervals, strength, sleep consistency, sauna, cold exposure, protein intake, and morning light.
- No account required — Nuvo works without email, password, or cloud profile.
Change Your Trajectory
Longevity is not one heroic intervention — it is a slope. Small, consistent inputs compound over years into a measurable difference in biological age. Nuvo makes that slope visible. A 7-day rolling view shows whether your biological age is trending down, flat, or up, and correlates the trend with the habits you're actually completing.
Because Nuvo attributes changes to specific behaviors, the guesswork disappears. If your sleep consistency slipped last week and biological age ticked up, you'll see it. If two consecutive Zone 2 sessions dropped your resting heart rate by 3 bpm, you'll see that too.
Learn What Actually Improves Your Recovery
Sauna sessions, cold plunges, breathwork, magnesium, alcohol-free evenings — the internet is full of recovery claims. Nuvo lets you run them as personal experiments. Log an intervention with one tap, and Nuvo measures the change in next-day HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep quality against your rolling baseline.
After a handful of exposures, you'll know — for your body, not a stranger's — which interventions move recovery and which are placebo.
Build Habits That Drive Results
Pick a longevity goal — lower biological age by 2 years, add 4 mL/kg/min of VO2 max, extend deep sleep by 15 minutes — and Nuvo recommends the habits with the strongest published effect size for that outcome. Progress is tracked automatically from Apple Watch: a Zone 2 walk, a strength session, or a night of 7+ hours of sleep counts itself.
Weekly reviews summarize adherence, biomarker movement, and the single habit most worth doubling down on next week.
Go Deeper With Nuvo Intelligence
Nuvo Intelligence is a 24/7 longevity coach built into the app. Ask it why your HRV dropped, what to eat before a Zone 2 session, or how to interpret an elevated ApoB result, and it answers using your own data as context. Because it runs on-device using Apple's neural engine, your questions and your health data never leave your iPhone.
Built For Privacy
Privacy is a design constraint, not a marketing line. Nuvo requires no account, no email, and no password. All 37 Apple Health biomarkers are processed locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device machine learning frameworks. Your data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train third-party models. If you delete the app, your data is gone with it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is biological age?
Biological age is an estimate of how old your body is functioning, based on measurable biomarkers rather than birthdays. It captures cardiovascular fitness, metabolic health, sleep quality, and stress recovery. Two 40-year-olds can have biological ages of 32 and 48.
Which devices does Nuvo need?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. An Apple Watch is strongly recommended because it provides continuous HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep data — the highest-signal inputs to biological age.
Do I need to enter blood work?
No. Nuvo produces a biological age estimate from Apple Health data alone. Adding lab biomarkers (HbA1c, ApoB, hs-CRP, fasting glucose) sharpens the estimate but is optional.
Is my data sent to the cloud?
No. All biomarker analysis runs on your iPhone. Nuvo has no server-side copy of your Health data and no user account tied to it.
How much does Nuvo cost?
Nuvo is a free download on the App Store with an optional subscription for Nuvo Intelligence and advanced longevity coaching.
