Nuvo vs Fountain Life: Daily Biological Age App or Clinic Membership?
Pick Fountain Life for a physician-led clinic membership with MRI, CT, and 100+ labs at five-figure prices. Pick Nuvo for a daily 21-biomarker biological age on iPhone, $24.99/yr.
Written by the Nuvo Longevity editorial team at Firefly Labs LLC.
Choose Fountain Life if you want a physician-led longevity clinic membership: a clinic day of AI-Guided Diagnostics (imaging and labs, with coverage that depends on CORE versus APEX) and access to Zori, their AI medical expert. Choose Nuvo if you want a daily biological age on iPhone and Apple Watch from 21 biomarkers — HealthKit plus an optional lab PDF — with on-device AI, no account, at $4.99/month or $24.99/year. These are different jobs. Fountain Life is a clinic visit and a five-figure membership. Nuvo is a daily on-device score for the days between clinic visits.

What each product actually sells
Fountain Life: a clinic membership
Fountain Life sells physician-led longevity programs built around a clinic day, not a watch app. The homepage describes AI-Guided Diagnostics (Fountain’s phrase is “150 GB of data points”), restorative therapeutics, and an award-winning Zori AI Medical Expert. The assessment is framed as one day, not a nightly score. Centers listed on that page are Dallas, Orlando, Naples, New York, and Houston, with Miami marked coming soon.
CORE is the essential longevity experience: a subset of AI-Guided Diagnostics, a physician review of results, and Zori AI membership with app access. APEX is the premier membership: a wider diagnostics set, Always-on Care (a 24/7 team that Fountain describes as a longevity physician, nurse, health coach, nutritionist, and care coordinator), and optional access to restorative therapeutics. The membership page also lists APEX Family.
The comparison matrix on the CORE and membership pages labels coverage in plain text: CORE, 8 of 27 AI-Guided Diagnostics covered; APEX, 24 of 27 covered; APEX Family, 3 of 27 covered. On that same matrix, checked 9 October 2026, both CORE and APEX show a check for full-body and brain MRI with AI, DEXA (bone density and body composition), a comprehensive blood biomarker panel (Fountain’s description says over 100 blood markers), coronary CT angiography with AI, electrocardiogram, low-dose lung CT with AI, whole genome sequencing, and blood pressure. APEX Family marks several of those imaging rows “A la carte,” so genome and CT coverage is tier-dependent.
Rows that show a dash on CORE and a check on APEX include retinal scan with AI, skin cancer mapping, gut microbiome, oral pathogen testing, environmental toxicant testing, neurocognitive function, functional movement and mobility, VO₂ max, balance, grip strength, pulse-wave velocity, sleep testing, and olfactory testing. The early multi-cancer blood test is labeled A la carte on both CORE and APEX, so it is not one of the covered diagnostics in those two columns. Continuous glucose monitoring, hormone and cortisol rhythm mapping, a nutritional-needs assessment, and a cellular senescence and immune-age test are also labeled A la carte on APEX.
Epigenetic biological age is a dash on CORE (not included), a check on APEX, and the words “A la carte” on APEX Family. The row description says the test reads methylation tags at about 900,000 DNA locations to estimate biological age. That is a lab epigenetic assay on a clinic cadence. It is not a daily Apple Watch biological-age score.
Care rows differ from the diagnostics count. “Longevity Physician and Care Team” reads Limited on CORE and shows a check on APEX. The CORE page still describes a physician review of diagnostic results and a personalized plan, which matches “limited,” not “no physician.” Zori AI Medical Expert shows a check on CORE, APEX, and APEX Family. Always-on Care is a dash on CORE and a check on APEX. Restorative therapeutics — including therapeutic plasma exchange, restorative biologics, hydrodissection and orthobiologics, and aesthetic treatments — are a dash on CORE and A la carte on APEX. Fountain states that restorative biologics at the Naples center require APEX membership and that the therapy is not FDA approved.
Fountain Life is not a daily Apple Watch biological-age app. The public product is a clinic and membership, with diagnostics described as once a year in the expandable row copy and in member language about an annual visit.
Nuvo: a daily biological-age app
Nuvo Longevity (App Store: Nuvo: Longevity Coach, id 6762535065) is an iPhone and Apple Watch app. It calculates a daily biological age from 21 biomarkers: Apple Health / HealthKit data from Apple Watch, Oura, or Garmin, plus optional lab PDF upload so results you already paid for can sit in the same score.
Coaching runs as on-device private AI (Nuvo Intelligence). There is no account. Apple’s privacy nutrition label for Nuvo is Data Not Collected. Price is $4.99/month or $24.99/year after a 7-day trial — $24.99/year is $2.08/month billed annually.
Nuvo is not a clinic. It does not book an MRI, a coronary CT, a genome, or a physician review, and it does not detect cancer. If you want the membership Fountain Life sells, buy Fountain Life. If you already have labs — from a clinic day, a clinician, or another panel — and you want a number that moves on sleep, HRV, and training between visits, that is the Nuvo job. For a wider field of apps, see our 2026 biological age app comparison. For a 160+ lab membership that is not a full-body imaging clinic, see Nuvo vs Function Health.
Comparison table
| Fountain Life | Nuvo Longevity | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Shop lists CORE Diagnostics at $10,500 USD and APEX Membership at $23,500 USD. Regular and sale prices matched on both pages (no discount shown). À la carte tests and restorative therapeutics are extra; those add-on prices are not published as one number. | $4.99/month or $24.99/year ($2.08/month billed annually) after a 7-day trial. No imaging or clinic visit is bundled. |
| What you buy | Physician-led clinic membership. CORE is a subset of AI-Guided Diagnostics (matrix: 8 of 27), physician review, and Zori. APEX is broader diagnostics (matrix: 24 of 27), Always-on Care, and optional restorative therapeutics. | A daily biological age from 21 biomarkers on iPhone and Apple Watch. Not a clinic, not MRI, not CT. |
| Diagnostics | Tier-dependent. Both CORE and APEX show checks for full-body and brain MRI with AI, DEXA, a 100+ blood panel, coronary CT angiography with AI, and whole genome sequencing. Epigenetic biological age is not included on CORE and is checked on APEX. Multi-cancer blood testing is labeled A la carte on CORE and APEX. | HealthKit wearables plus optional lab PDF upload. Nuvo does not perform or replace MRI, CT, genome sequencing, or a physician read. |
| Cadence | Clinic day and membership. Diagnostics are an annual-style visit, not a score that updates every morning. | Daily biological age on iPhone and Apple Watch, including the months between clinic visits. |
| Biological age | Epigenetic biological age is a clinic lab row (about 900,000 methylation sites in Fountain’s description). Dash on CORE, check on APEX, A la carte on APEX Family. Not a daily wearable clock. | Daily biological age from 21 biomarkers, on device. |
| Privacy | Membership and clinic care. Fountain’s site describes the service as private and HIPAA compliant. You are a member, with a care team and Zori on their platform. | No account. On-device private AI. Apple privacy label: Data Not Collected. Data is not sent to Nuvo servers and is not sold. |
| Who it’s for | People who want physician-led MRI, CT, labs, and (on APEX) a wider diagnostic set, and who can pay five-figure membership pricing. | People who want a daily 21-biomarker biological age on the iPhone and Apple Watch they already own, including optional labs between visits. |
Where Fountain Life is the better purchase
Fountain Life wins when the job is physician-led detection and a clinic chart. Full-body and brain MRI, coronary CT angiography, DEXA, a 100+ blood panel, and whole genome sequencing are medical diagnostics. Nuvo cannot see a tumor, plaque, or a structural finding, and it should not be used as if it could. Fountain’s own homepage publishes member-outcome figures, including higher cancer-screening detection. Those are Fountain’s claims about its clinic program. They are not claims about Nuvo.
APEX also wins if you want the wider matrix (the page’s own label is 24 of 27 diagnostics), Always-on Care, and the option to add restorative therapeutics. CORE is the smaller diagnostics set at a lower listed shop price, with Zori and a limited physician-and-care-team row rather than Always-on Care.
If you do not own an iPhone and Apple Watch, Fountain Life is also the option that does not depend on that hardware. Nuvo does.
Where Nuvo is the better purchase
Nuvo wins on cadence, price, and architecture when the job is a daily number. Fountain’s epigenetic biological age, where the matrix includes it, is a lab test tied to the membership — checked on APEX, not on CORE — not a score that moves because you slept poorly last night. Nuvo recalculates daily from 21 biomarkers so the number can respond to HealthKit data between visits.
Nuvo also wins on cost if you already have, or do not want, a five-figure clinic membership. $24.99/year does not buy MRI. It buys a private daily score. Stacking Fountain Life plus Nuvo is a different decision than replacing the clinic. The honest middle case is: keep the annual diagnostics, and use Nuvo for the other 364 days, including an optional lab PDF from bloodwork you already have.
Privacy is a structural difference. Fountain Life is a membership with a care team and a cloud medical expert. Nuvo runs coaching on-device, requires no account, and uses the Data Not Collected privacy label. If you will not put a daily wearable history on a clinic account, Nuvo is the one built for that constraint. How that on-device model works is covered in health app privacy and on-device AI.
Nuvo’s App Store presence is early: 4 ratings (5.0 from 4 US ratings on the figure we publish, dated 2026-09-01). We are not going to inflate it, and this page does not publish an aggregate rating for either product.
Can you use both?
Yes. That is a valid stack, not a contradiction. Use Fountain Life for the annual deep diagnostics — MRI, CT, labs, genome, and a physician’s read, on the tier you actually buy. Use Nuvo to turn 21 biomarkers, including an optional lab PDF, into a daily biological age on the phone you already carry. The clinic visit does not update every morning. The app does not replace the scanner.
If the only job is “put me through physician-led imaging and a 100+ panel,” stop at Fountain Life. If the only job is “daily biological age from wearables plus labs I already have, privately, on iPhone,” stop at Nuvo. Download app.
Habits that actually move aging markers — sleep, aerobic fitness, glucose, inflammation — are covered in How to reduce biological age. This page is only about which product to buy for which job.
Pricing math without invented discounts
Fountain Life shop, checked 9 October 2026: CORE Diagnostics is listed at $10,500 USD. APEX Membership is listed at $23,500 USD. On both product pages the regular price and the sale price were the same number, so this article does not apply a discount. Deposits, rescheduling, and what is bundled versus à la carte can change the amount you pay. The matrix marks many tests and all restorative therapeutics as A la carte, and Fountain does not publish one all-in add-on total on those shop pages, so we do not invent one. Confirm the current figure with Fountain Life before you book.
Nuvo: $4.99/month or $24.99/year ($2.08/month billed annually) after a 7-day trial. No MRI, CT, genome, or physician visit is included.
Comparing $10,500 or $23,500 with $24.99 as if they bought the same thing is a category error. One buys a clinic membership. The other buys a daily 21-biomarker score on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I pick Nuvo or Fountain Life?
Pick Fountain Life if you want a physician-led clinic membership with MRI, CT, labs, and a care team, and you can pay the five-figure shop prices ($10,500 for CORE Diagnostics, $23,500 for APEX Membership, as listed on 9 October 2026). Pick Nuvo if you want a daily biological age on iPhone and Apple Watch from 21 biomarkers, on-device AI, and no account, at $24.99/year. Many people who already do a clinic day can use both.
Is Fountain Life a daily Apple Watch biological-age app?
No. Fountain Life is a longevity clinic membership. Diagnostics are a clinic visit, with an annual-style cadence in their materials. Zori is their AI medical expert for members. That is not a daily HealthKit biological-age score on Apple Watch.
How much do Fountain Life CORE and APEX cost?
On 9 October 2026, shop.fountainlife.com listed CORE Diagnostics at $10,500 USD and APEX Membership at $23,500 USD, with regular and sale prices the same. À la carte diagnostics and restorative therapeutics are not rolled into a single extra price on those pages. Nuvo is $4.99/month or $24.99/year after a 7-day trial.
Does Fountain Life include epigenetic biological age?
On the comparison matrix checked 9 October 2026, epigenetic biological age is not included on CORE (the cell is a dash). It is checked on APEX, and APEX Family reads “A la carte.” Fountain describes it as a methylation test at about 900,000 DNA locations. It is not Nuvo’s daily 21-biomarker score.
What is the difference between CORE and APEX?
Fountain’s matrix says CORE covers 8 of 27 AI-Guided Diagnostics and APEX covers 24 of 27. CORE includes Zori and a physician-review experience the matrix labels Limited. APEX adds Always-on Care, checks on more diagnostic rows (including epigenetic biological age), and lists restorative therapeutics as A la carte. APEX Family is a third column, labeled 3 of 27 diagnostics covered.
Can I use Fountain Life and Nuvo together?
Yes. Use Fountain Life for the clinic diagnostics and physician review on the tier you buy. Use Nuvo between visits for a daily biological age from 21 biomarkers, including an optional lab PDF. Nuvo does not replace MRI, CT, or the physician.
Does Nuvo detect cancer or replace Fountain Life imaging?
No. Nuvo does not detect cancer and does not replace full-body or brain MRI, coronary CT, genome sequencing, a 100+ blood panel, or a physician. Those are Fountain Life’s clinic job, on the tests your membership actually includes.
How many biomarkers does Nuvo use?
21 longevity biomarkers. They combine HealthKit inputs from Apple Watch, Oura, or Garmin with optional labs such as HbA1c, fasting glucose, HDL, CRP, creatinine, and more.
Does Nuvo require an account?
No. Nuvo uses on-device private AI and no account. Apple’s privacy label is Data Not Collected. Fountain Life is a membership with a care team and Zori on their platform; Fountain describes the service as HIPAA compliant.
Is this medical advice?
No. This comparison is educational and is not medical advice. Neither Fountain Life nor Nuvo replaces diagnosis or treatment from a licensed clinician. Imaging and lab results belong with a qualified professional.
