Nuvo vs Superpower: Daily Biological Age App or 150+ Biomarker Membership?
Superpower is a yearly 150+ biomarker lab membership ($349/year). Nuvo is a daily 21-biomarker biological age on iPhone at $24.99/year. Complementary jobs.
Written by the Nuvo Longevity editorial team at Firefly Labs LLC.
Choose Superpower if you want a yearly blood-panel membership: 150+ biomarkers across two draws, a clinician-grade action plan, biological age and health scores from those labs, and an AI plus clinician care team. Choose Nuvo if you want a daily biological age on iPhone and Apple Watch from 21 biomarkers — HealthKit wearables plus optional lab PDF — with on-device AI, no account, and $24.99/year after a 7-day trial. They are adjacent jobs. Superpower is the deep yearly bloodwork and care team. Nuvo is the daily 21-biomarker number between draws, on the phone you already own. Many people who already pay for a panel still want that morning score. They can stack.
Written by the Nuvo Longevity editorial team at Firefly Labs LLC, the developer of Nuvo. We fetched https://www.joinsuperpower.com/ on 25 September 2026; that hostname returned a Namecheap parking page, so it is not the source of the prices below. Superpower Health details are taken from the live public site the privacy policy identifies as superpower.com (Superpower Health, Inc.): the homepage, membership FAQs, the biological-age landing (https://superpower.com/biological-age redirected there), and that privacy policy, checked 25 September 2026. The homepage list price we rendered is $349 per year. A script on that page also configures a new-member offer of $299 (regular $349, $50 off the first year) that the script says appears only on paid pages whose A/B marker reads “discount,” through 30 September 2026, 23:59 Pacific. We do not treat $299 as the organic list price, and we do not invent a price after that window. This page is educational and is not medical advice. Lab results and biological-age scores should be reviewed with a licensed clinician.
What each product actually sells
Superpower: a yearly lab membership and care team
Superpower (Superpower Health, Inc.) sells a health membership. The homepage we rendered on 25 September 2026 says members get 150+ lab tests across 2 blood draws for $349 per year, also written as “starts at $349/year” and “$349/year” next to “$0.96/day.” The same page says pricing may vary for members in New York and New Jersey, and that at-home labs cost extra. It does not print a separate New York or New Jersey dollar amount, so we do not invent one.
What the public pages include, checked the same day:
- Two blood tests a year. The FAQ splits that into a comprehensive baseline panel and a 50+ biomarker retest later in the year. Together they cover 150+ biomarkers across baseline plus retest. That is 150+ across the year, which is a different claim from 150+ markers on every single draw.
- Draws at 2,000+ Quest locations or at home (at-home is an additional fee on the homepage). The FAQ lists US states where Superpower is live and says it is not yet available in Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
- Biological age + 17 unique health scores on the homepage membership card. The FAQ phrases the same bundle as “17 health scores + your biological age.” The homepage biomarker browser also lists an aging group of three named items: Health Score Test, Pace of Aging Test, and BioAge Test.
- A clinician-grade action plan after tests (lifestyle, diet, supplements). Homepage: Superpower AI and a care team, including “24/7 access to care team.” The concierge FAQ says responses are within one business day or less. Those are the two public timing claims; we do not merge them into one SLA.
- Upload of past labs, and wearable sync for Apple Health, Whoop, and Oura (“and more” on the homepage). That connection is context next to labs. The public pages do not describe a daily Apple Watch biological age.
- HSA/FSA eligible. The FAQ says members can request an itemized receipt from members@superpower.com. If HSA/FSA reimbursement is declined, Superpower says it will refund you prior to the first lab test. Insurance is not accepted “at this time” on that FAQ. Cancel anytime, no fees, and the membership stays active through the end of the paid year. A separate FAQ answer says Superpower does not offer refunds at this time, aside from that HSA/FSA case.
- Add-on diagnostics (gut, toxins, Grail Galleri, and others) and a marketplace. The FAQ says Superpower can offer prescription medications, including compounded hormones and peptides, when a licensed clinician decides they are appropriate. Prescriptions are not available in all states, compounded products are not FDA-approved, and they are not the $349 membership’s included blood panel.
Superpower is an account and clinical membership. Results land in the Superpower app. It is not an on-device-only Apple Watch coach, and it does not calculate a biological age every morning from a wrist sensor.
Nuvo: a daily 21-biomarker score
Nuvo Longevity (App Store: Nuvo: Longevity Coach, id 6762535065) is an iPhone and Apple Watch app. It calculates a daily biological age from 21 biomarkers: Apple Health / HealthKit data from Apple Watch, Oura, or Garmin, plus optional lab PDF upload so conventional results you already paid for (HbA1c, fasting glucose, HDL, CRP, creatinine, and more) sit in the same score.
Coaching runs as on-device private AI (Nuvo Intelligence). There is no account. Apple’s privacy nutrition label for Nuvo is Data Not Collected. Health data stays on the phone. Price is $4.99/month or $24.99/year after a 7-day trial — $24.99/year is $2.08/month billed annually. Nuvo does not schedule Quest draws, staff a care team, or sell a 150-biomarker panel.
Nuvo is not Superpower’s baseline panel, retest, PhenoAge estimate, or 17 health scores. If the job is “two blood draws a year, a clinician-grade plan, and a care team,” that is Superpower. If the job is “one daily biological age from 21 biomarkers, including optional labs, privately, on the phone you already carry,” that is Nuvo. Download app. For the wider field, see our 2026 biological age app comparison. For another 160+ lab membership, see Nuvo vs Function Health. For a DNA-methylation kit, see Nuvo vs TruDiagnostic (TruAge). For an IgG glycan kit, see Nuvo vs GlycanAge.
Comparison table
| Superpower | Nuvo Longevity | |
|---|---|---|
| Job to be done | Yearly lab membership: 150+ biomarkers across two blood draws, action plan, AI + clinician care team, biological age and health scores from blood. | One daily biological age from 21 biomarkers on the iPhone and Apple Watch you already own, with optional labs you already paid for. |
| Daily score? | No daily wearable biological age on the public pages. Biological age updates with blood draws (baseline, then retest), not every morning from Apple Watch. | Yes. Recalculated daily from 21 biomarkers so sleep, HRV, training, and optional labs can sit in one number. |
| What “biological age” is | Blood-draw age. The biological-age landing says the clinical team turns 150+ biomarkers, compared with optimal ranges, into a PhenoAge estimate, then you retest. Homepage also lists biological age plus 17 health scores, and an aging group named Health Score, Pace of Aging, and BioAge. | A daily composite of 21 wearable plus optional conventional-lab biomarkers. Nuvo does not implement Superpower’s PhenoAge estimate or its 17 health scores as named clocks. |
| Wearable? | Sync for context: Apple Health, Whoop, Oura, and “more,” plus past-lab upload. Wearables here sit next to the blood panel. They are not the biological-age clock. | iPhone + Apple Watch app. HealthKit from Apple Watch, Garmin, or Oura. |
| Labs included? | Yes. Two draws a year at 2,000+ Quest sites (at-home extra). Baseline plus a 50+ marker retest, covering 150+ biomarkers across the year. Add-on tests cost extra. | No draw is bundled. Optional user-entered values or a lab PDF you already have. |
| Privacy / account | Account and clinical membership. Privacy policy (effective 8.18.2026): Superpower Health, Inc. collects name, contact, payment, and healthcare information (labs, biometrics, diagnoses). The policy says Superpower is not a healthcare provider and therefore may not have to comply with HIPAA, while affiliated providers, labs, or pharmacies may be. It says Superpower does not sell Personal Information except as the policy describes, and that it may sell de-identified information. The FAQ separately says data is encrypted, stored in HIPAA-compliant systems, and never sold to third parties or shared for marketing. Read both. This is a cloud membership, not an on-device-only app. | No account. On-device private AI (Nuvo Intelligence). Apple privacy label: Data Not Collected. Data stays on the phone, is not sent to Nuvo servers, and is not sold. See on-device AI and privacy. |
| Price ballpark (US public, 25 Sep 2026) | Homepage list price $349/year ($0.96/day on the page). HSA/FSA eligible. NY/NJ pricing “may vary” — amount not printed. At-home draw extra. New-member script on the homepage: $299 (regular $349), “$50 off your first year,” $0.82/day, only when the page A/B marker reads “discount,” through 30 September 2026, 23:59 Pacific. Organic homepage text we rendered still showed $349. We do not invent the price after that date. | $4.99/month or $24.99/year after a 7-day trial. No kit and no lab draw is bundled. |
| Best for | People who want 150+ blood biomarkers a year, a clinician-grade plan, and a care team, and who will use an account. | People who want one daily 21-biomarker biological age on the iPhone they already own, optional labs they already paid for, no account, at $24.99/year. |
| Ratings | Superpower’s homepage displayed 4.6 out of 5, “260+ reviews,” and “64,000+ members” on 25 September 2026. Those are Superpower’s own figures. We did not audit them, and we do not invent an App Store rating count for Superpower. | Honestly thin: 5.0 from 4 US ratings (iTunes lookup, 25 September 2026). Do not treat that as a large review corpus. |
What each “biological age” actually measures
Superpower’s biological age is a blood-draw result. The biological-age landing (checked 25 September 2026) says two blood draws and 150+ biomarkers give “a clear read on your biological age,” and the section “How we measure your pace of aging” says: they test 150+ biomarkers, compare them to optimal ranges rather than declining population averages, and the clinical team turns that into a PhenoAge estimate and a plan, then you retest. The homepage sells that number alongside 17 health scores, and the biomarker browser names Health Score, Pace of Aging, and BioAge as the aging group. None of those pages describe the score updating every morning from Apple Watch.
PhenoAge, as a published method, is the blood-chemistry and epigenetic clock from Levine and colleagues. Superpower’s landing calls the output a PhenoAge estimate from the clinical team and the large panel. It does not print the original nine-marker equation or say the estimate is unmodified, so we do not claim their coefficients match the paper:
- Levine ME et al. An epigenetic biomarker of aging for lifespan and healthspan. Aging (Albany NY) 2018;10(4):573–591 (PMID 29676998). A Superpower PhenoAge estimate from a 150+ panel and a Nuvo daily score of the same number are not interchangeable.
Nuvo’s 21 biomarkers are wearable plus optional conventional labs — HRV, sleep, fitness, and chemistry such as HbA1c or CRP, recalculated daily on device. Nuvo does not run Superpower’s clinical PhenoAge estimate, does not output Superpower’s 17 health scores, and does not staff the care team that writes the action plan.
Can they stack?
Yes. That is the honest adjacent-jobs answer. Use Superpower for the two blood draws, the action plan, and the care team. Use Nuvo for the daily 21-biomarker trend on HealthKit in the months between draws. Nuvo does not ingest Superpower’s PhenoAge estimate, health scores, or clinician plan as named inputs. If Superpower or Quest produces a standard lab PDF (HbA1c, glucose, lipids, CRP, creatinine), that PDF can sit in Nuvo’s 21-biomarker score. A Superpower membership does not become Nuvo’s daily clock, and Nuvo does not replace the draw or the clinician.
Wearables can feed both without making them the same product. Superpower’s homepage lets members sync Apple Health, Whoop, or Oura so habits sit next to labs. Nuvo reads HealthKit (Apple Watch, Garmin, or Oura) as part of the daily 21-biomarker age. Connecting Apple Health to Superpower does not turn Superpower into Nuvo.
If you only want the yearly panel and the care team, stop at Superpower. If you only want the daily score, stop at Nuvo. If you already pay for the membership and still want a number that can move on sleep, HRV, and training between the baseline and the retest, stack them.
Privacy
Superpower is an account product. The privacy policy (last updated and effective 8.18.2026) says Superpower Health, Inc. operates superpower.com and may operate a Superpower mobile app. It collects personal information including name, mailing address, phone, email, health data, demographics, payment information, and healthcare information such as health history, biometrics, lab data, and prior diagnoses. On HIPAA, the policy’s own sentence is that Superpower is not a healthcare provider and therefore may not have to comply with HIPAA, while affiliated healthcare providers, labs, or pharmacies may be covered and may disclose information to Superpower to deliver care. The policy says Superpower does not sell Personal Information for reasons other than those described, and that it may de-identify information and sell that de-identified information. The FAQ answers “Is my data secure?” differently in tone: encrypted, stored in HIPAA-compliant systems, never sold to third parties or shared for marketing, and you can download or delete your data. Both documents are public. Quote the one you are relying on, and read the policy before you upload labs.
Nuvo requires no account and uses the Apple privacy label Data Not Collected. Coaching is on-device. Data stays on the phone and is not sold. If you will not put labs, identity, and a care-team history on a membership account, do not buy Superpower. If you will not put longitudinal wearable and lab data on an app account, Nuvo is the one built for that constraint. Architecture notes: health app privacy and on-device AI.
Where Superpower wins
Superpower wins if the job is a large blood panel plus a human care team. Two draws a year, 150+ biomarkers across baseline and a 50+ marker retest, Quest access, a clinician-grade plan, and on-demand clinicians are the product. Nuvo does not order those labs, interpret a 150-marker panel, or message a concierge. If that is what you came to buy, buy Superpower.
Superpower also wins if you want a blood-based biological age and health scores and you do not own an Apple Watch. The PhenoAge estimate and the 17 health scores update when you retest, which is the resolution of a lab membership. Nuvo’s daily number is a 21-biomarker composite you can see every morning. Those are different measurements. Scale is not close on reviews either. Superpower’s homepage cites 64,000+ members and a Trustpilot-style 4.6 from 260+ reviews (their figures, 25 September 2026, not audited here). Nuvo’s App Store presence is early: 4 ratings. We are not going to inflate four ratings into social proof, and we do not publish a schema.org rating object for Nuvo.
Where Nuvo wins
Nuvo wins on the daily biological-age job. Superpower updates a blood-based age when you retest. The membership does not, by itself, print a morning wearable score. Nuvo recalculates a daily biological age from 21 biomarkers so sleep, HRV, training, and optional labs can sit in one number without another draw.
Nuvo wins on price if you already own an iPhone (and often an Apple Watch) and you do not need Superpower’s panel. $24.99/year versus $349/year is a category difference, not a coupon off the same product. If you already have labs — from Superpower, a clinician, or another panel — Nuvo can use a PDF you upload. You do not have to buy a second membership to see a daily number.
Privacy is structural. Superpower is an account and clinical record (labs, payment, care team), with the HIPAA nuance in the privacy policy above. Nuvo is no account and Data Not Collected. Conventional labs in Nuvo are optional PDFs in the same 21-biomarker score. Those PDFs do not become Superpower’s PhenoAge estimate, and Superpower’s wearable sync does not become Nuvo’s daily clock.
Who wins for which user
Buy Superpower if you want 150+ biomarkers a year, a clinician-grade action plan, and a care team, and you will keep that record on an account. Buy Nuvo if you want a daily 21-biomarker biological age on iPhone and Apple Watch, privately, at $24.99/year. Buy both if you already pay for Superpower (or another lab membership) and still want a daily age from HealthKit plus any conventional lab PDF you have. One is a yearly blood-draw membership. The other is a daily age readout.
If the only job is “order the panel and talk to a care team,” stop at Superpower. If the only job is “daily biological age from 21 biomarkers, privately, on iPhone,” stop at Nuvo. Download app.
Habits that actually move aging markers — sleep, aerobic fitness, glucose, inflammation — are covered in How to reduce biological age. This page is only about which product to buy for which job. For Function Health’s lab membership, see Nuvo vs Function Health. For TruDiagnostic’s blood-spot TruAge methylation kit, see Nuvo vs TruDiagnostic (TruAge). For GlycanAge’s IgG glycan kit, see Nuvo vs GlycanAge.
Pricing math without invented discounts
Superpower’s US homepage list price on 25 September 2026 is $349 per year. The page also prints $0.96/day (349 ÷ 365 is about $0.96) and “HSA/FSA eligible.” At-home collection is extra. New York and New Jersey “may vary”; the homepage does not print those amounts. The same HTML includes a new-member offer script: regular $349, now $299, “$50 off your first year,” $0.82/day, through 30 September 2026, 23:59 Pacific, and the script comment says organic pages do not get that bar — it runs when the page’s A/B marker reads “discount.” The organic homepage text we rendered still showed $349. After 30 September 2026 we do not invent a successor promo. Checkout is the price that matters.
Nuvo: $4.99/month or $24.99/year ($2.08/month billed annually) after a 7-day trial. No blood draw is bundled. The public Superpower homepage and FAQ we checked do not list a free trial of the $349 membership.
At list prices, stacking is $349 + $24.99 = $373.99 for a year of Superpower plus a year of Nuvo. If the $299 new-member offer actually applies at your checkout before it expires, the first-year stack is $299 + $24.99 = $323.99. That is addition, not a bundle discount either company sells. Comparing $349/year of labs and a care team with $24.99/year of a phone app as if they bought the same object is a category error. Many high-intent shoppers already spend the panel money. The remaining question is whether they also want a daily 21-biomarker biological age between draws. That is the Nuvo add.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I pick Nuvo or Superpower?
Pick Superpower if you want a yearly membership with 150+ biomarkers across two blood draws, a clinician-grade action plan, biological age and health scores from those labs, and an AI plus clinician care team. The homepage list price we checked on 25 September 2026 is $349/year. Pick Nuvo if you want a daily biological age from 21 biomarkers on iPhone and Apple Watch, optional conventional lab PDF in that same score, on-device AI, no account, and $24.99/year after a 7-day trial. If you already use Superpower, you can stack: Superpower for the draws and the care team, Nuvo for the daily 21-biomarker trend between them.
Is Superpower a daily biological age app?
No. Superpower is a lab membership. Biological age there is derived from blood draws: the biological-age landing describes a PhenoAge estimate from 150+ biomarkers, and the homepage pairs biological age with 17 health scores. Members can sync Apple Health, Whoop, or Oura for context. That is not a daily Apple Watch score.
Can I use Nuvo with Superpower?
Yes. They are complementary. Superpower is the yearly panel, action plan, and care team. Nuvo is the daily 21-biomarker readout on HealthKit plus optional lab PDFs. Nuvo does not ingest Superpower’s PhenoAge estimate or health scores as named inputs. A standard lab PDF can go into Nuvo’s score. You do not have to pick only one product.
What does each biological age measure?
Superpower’s public biological-age page says the clinical team turns a 150+ biomarker panel, compared with optimal ranges, into a PhenoAge estimate, then you retest. Published PhenoAge is Levine et al., Aging (Albany NY) 2018 (PMID 29676998). Superpower’s page does not print that paper’s nine-marker equation, so the estimate and the paper are related language, not a verified identical formula. Nuvo’s number is a daily composite of 21 wearable and optional conventional-lab biomarkers on device. The two numbers can share a label and still measure different inputs.
How much do Superpower and Nuvo cost?
Superpower’s homepage list price on 25 September 2026 is $349/year ($0.96/day on the page), HSA/FSA eligible, with at-home draws extra and New York / New Jersey pricing not printed. A homepage script configures $299 ($50 off the first year, $0.82/day) for new members on discount-marked paid pages through 30 September 2026, 23:59 Pacific. The organic page text still showed $349. Nuvo is $4.99/month or $24.99/year ($2.08/month billed annually) after a 7-day trial, with no lab draw included. List-price stack: $373.99. First-year stack only if the $299 offer applies at checkout: $323.99.
Does Superpower connect wearables?
Yes, as context. The homepage says you can upload past labs and sync Apple Health, Whoop, Oura, and more. Nuvo reads Apple Watch, Garmin, or Oura through HealthKit as inputs to a daily 21-biomarker biological age. Syncing a wearable to Superpower does not make Superpower a daily biological-age app.
Does Nuvo require an account?
No. Nuvo uses on-device private AI and no account. Apple’s privacy label is Data Not Collected; data stays on the phone. Superpower is an account membership. Its privacy policy (effective 8.18.2026) describes collection of health and lab data and says Superpower may not itself be a HIPAA-covered provider, while affiliated clinics and labs may be. The FAQ says data is stored in HIPAA-compliant systems and is not sold for marketing. Nuvo uses 21 longevity biomarkers (HealthKit plus optional labs such as HbA1c, fasting glucose, HDL, CRP, creatinine).
Does Superpower replace my doctor?
Superpower’s FAQ says the membership is meant to complement a primary care doctor if you have one, and that it is not for emergencies. The same FAQ says a marketplace can offer prescriptions, including compounded hormones and peptides, when a licensed clinician finds them appropriate, not in every state. Nuvo does not prescribe, order Quest draws, or replace either Superpower or your physician.
Is this medical advice?
No. This comparison is educational. Neither Superpower nor Nuvo replaces care, diagnosis, or treatment from a licensed clinician. Lab results, PhenoAge estimates, health scores, and wearable biological-age numbers should be reviewed with a qualified professional.
