Tally’s Our science page says the next-generation test was trained on a DNA methylation adult cheek-swab dataset of over 8,000 diverse people spanning chronological ages 18–100, using over 200,000 sites across the genome, and that it associates with lifestyle and health factors including mortality risk. Tally is explicit that CheekAge (published in GeroScience, 2024) is the inspiration for the commercial TallyAge clock — not a claim that the SKU you buy is the identical published model. The kit page’s timeline: kit arrives week 1; lab processing weeks 2–5; methylation measured and results delivered weeks 6–7; Tally recommends measuring again every six months.

Nuvo is not TallyAge, CheekAge, or a DNA methylation clock. It does not replace a lab-analyzed buccal kit or Tally’s Vitality membership.
